Interagency Dispatch Operational Guidance (IDOG)

The IDOG tasks include:

  • Create an IDOG and provide leadership intent to the Dispatch Efficiency Working Group (DEW).
    • Combine all Federal, State and Tribal dispatch operations into one guide (similar to Interagency Smokejumper Operations Guide (ISMOG), Interagency Helicopter Operations Guide (IHOG), etc.).
  • Achieve the intent of the Interagency Strategy for the Implementation of Federal Wildland Fire Management Policy.
    • Consistent application of interagency policy, staffing levels and management through common terms, procedures, governance and operational standards for dispatch centers.
